Ottawa County Health Center is looking for a fulltime accounting and/or financial professional. Candidates must have four year degree and four years accounting or finance experience. Payroll experience is a plus, but not required.
This position will be responsible for maintenance and processing of accounts payable and payroll, preparation of employee and vendor tax forms, submission of tax liabilities, journal entries, and account reconciliations. This position will also assist with the annual financial audit and Medicare cost report preparation.

This individual will be responsible for the timley submissions of medical claims to insurance companies, the review of patient bills for accuracy and completeness, and the registration of patients including verification of insurance eligibility. Knowledge of insurance guidelines for Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payers is preferred.
