Individual will lead the hospital's Quality program. Applicant must be able to communicate effectively and be capable of making independent decisions. As the Quality Director, this individual will work with departmental leaders on quality initiatives, coordinate nursing education programs, conduct chart audits and report results to regulatory entities, and assist the DON with various projects. Individuals will have diverse opportunities working with ER patients, Colonoscopies, EGDs, Outpatients, and Acute & Skilled inpatients and will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team with great support from local physicians and other nursing staff. Individuals will be responsible for providing ongoing patient centered nursing care including completing the initial assessment of patient; providing consultation to patients and family members; and implementing a nursing plan of care individualized to meet the needs of each patient. Qualified applicants must be dedicated, compassionate and professional. Must hold a current license from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
Admission Clerk/Medical Biller
Ottawa County Health Center is seeking a full-time Admissions Clerk and Medical Biller. Prior office experience is preferred, but not required.
This position will be responsible for patient registration, verifying and entering patient charges, verifying insurance eligibility, insurance billing, posting payments, and various other duties.
Applicants must have effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; be able to handle multiple initiatives; and be able to work independently and with a team.
