Primary responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient coding and leading projects for ICD-10 and Electronic Medical Records. Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9 and the willingness to learn ICD-10 is required. Experience in a crticial access hospital is a plus. Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) is preferred, but not required. CCA, CCS, CPC or CPC-H credentials or eligibility to obtain those credentials a plus.
