Registered Nurse -- Quality/Nurse Education
Ottawa County Health Center is currently looking for a full-time RN. Must hold a current license from the Kansas Board of Nursing. A Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred, but not required. Experience in teaching, training, or supervision in an educational or health care facility is preferred. Applicant must be able to communicate effectively with all groups of people and be capable of making independent decisions.
This individual will be responsible for:
- Completing audits of inpatient and outpatient charts and reporting findings to CMS, BCBS, and other entities
- Working closely with DON on the Kansas Heart & Stroke Collaborative initiatives
- Developing and updating nursing policies and procedures
- Implementing Quality Initiatives
- Working one floor shift per week as needed
Wellness Center Staff Member
Part Time - Monday-Thursday Evenings & Saturday Mornings
Ottawa County Health Center is seeking a part-time Wellness Center Staff Member. This person will perform a variety of duties to ensure a clean, safe environment for members and guests to exercise. Duties include monitoring the Wellness Center desk, assisting members and guests, enforcing Wellness Center rules, restocking supplies, and performing basic cleaning duties per shift.
Activities Assistant/Social Service Designee
Ottawa County Health Center is seeking a full-time Activities staff member. Individual will be responsible for developing and scheduling group and independent activities for long-term care and hospital residents. Opportunities for residents to participate in activities of interest through educational, social, recreational, and religious resources shall be created and implemented by the Activities Department.
As Social Service Designee, this individual will identify and provide for the resident's medically related social and emotional needs and promote the resident's potential during his/her stay in the facility. Interested applicants must be willing to complete necessary training courses.
Environmental Services Assistant
Ottawa County Health Center is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Assistant. Primary responsibilities include general cleaning of all areas of the hospital and all laundry services for the facility. Experience is preferred, but not required. Primary hours will be 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Candidates must be flexible with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Full Time - 12 hour shifts
Night Shift - 5:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
